Academic Writing Workshops

Workshop 1: Writing Applications for Graduate Studies (August 25th)

Are you thinking of applying for an MA or a PhD programme? Sign up for this workshop and learn how to write persuasive research proposals and covering letters. This workshop is aimed at students and recent graduates, who are preparing applications for graduate studies abroad.

Workshop 2: Academic Writing (August 26th)

This workshop aims to improve participants’ academic writing skills. We will work together on developing academic arguments, weighing in on academic debates, and structuring thoughts. In addition, participants, who send us their writing samples shall receive personalized feedback. The workshop is aimed primarily at BA and MA students/graduates.

These workshops will be led by Dagna Rams, BA in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge and MA from the Graduate School of Geneva (IHEID). Rams is currently a Doctoral Student in Social Anthropology and a Graduate Assistant at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. Aside from academic career, Rams also has professional experience in policy research in London, Kiev and Warsaw.
