Workshop 1: Business Correspondence: CVs, Emails and Letters (October 27th)

This workshop will help young entrepreneurs, corporate professionals and students cultivate the requisite language for writing within corporate settings. We will pay particular attention to emails, letters and CVs as we discuss form, structure and basic etiquette in business correspondence. Participants will learn how to understand audience in business writing in addition to crafting emails, letters and CVs that get positive response.

Workshop 2: Writing Winning Grant and Business Proposals (October 28th)

There is an art to proposal writing; be it a business proposal or a grant proposal. A good proposal tells a succinct and captivating story, keeping all component of the proposal relevant to the goal(s) of the reviewer and the author. This workshop is for young entrepreneurs, corporate professionals and students who want to add a competitive value to their business communication as well as improve their proposal writing skills.

These workshops will be led by Oluwaseun Kofi-Amoma Layade who is born with a gift for words and service. Layade graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon with a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration (Banking & Finance) in 2001. His 16-year career has seen him hold various roles in Consulting, Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Account & Product Management, HR & Administration, as well as Project Management. Oluwaseun advices on, initiates and manages projects to completion, coordinating diverse groups of people and companies towards achieving shared objectives. He is currently the Project Manager of CWG Ghana, a Pan African ICT Services company that offers IT solutions in Microfinance, Core Banking, Hardware, Cloud, Software, Communications & Managed Services.
